Grey-Bruce OPP welcome new School, Community Engagement and Safety Officer

The Grey-Bruce OPP are welcoming a new addition to their staff.

Provincial Constable Nicholas Wilson has joined the detachment as its new School, Community Engagement and Safety Officer. Wilson, a Huron County native, completed his undergraduate degree with honours in Justice Studies from the University of Guelph-Humber. He also graduated from Police Foundations at Humber College. Nick volunteered as an OPP Auxiliary Officer for three years, winning the James Keirstead Award in 2017, for dedicating over 2,000 hours of volunteer service.

Following the completion of his schooling, Wilson served as a Provincial Park Warden for Ontario Parks before becoming a full time police officer in 2017, doing general law enforcement duties with Grey-Bruce OPP before accepting his new role.
