The engineer for Huron County says he's not aware of any history of problems at the intersection of Airport Line and Bayfield Rd.
Travis Virag, 38, of Central Huron lost his life when the vehicle he was driving went out of control on the curve and rolled around 1:30am Thursday morning.
Engineer Steve Lund says he's aware there is a curve there, but says the county highways are built to safely allow for the kind of traffic they handle.
Whenever there's a serious accident, the county takes a look at what happened to determine what the contributing factors might have been, and that policy will be followed in this case.
Lund says they'll look into the possibility of putting up additional signage if they feel that might help in the future.
