OHL Wrap-up: Attack Beat the Spitfires, Rangers and Knights Lose

Owen Sound 4 Windsor 1

Jonah Gadjovich's goal just 38 seconds into the second period stood as the game winner in the Owen Sound Attack's 4-1 victory over Windsor.

The Spitfires were first on the board at 7:20 of the first period. Nick Suzuki answered for the Attack just 17 seconds later.

Kevin Hancock added insurance for the Attack on the power play midway through the second. Suzuki scored his second of the game on an empty Spitfires net with just 88 seconds left to play.

Hancock and Gadjovich each scored an had an assist for the Attack. Suzuki scored twice. Santino Centorame set up two of the Attack's goals and Cordell James and Petrus Palmu also had assists.

Michael McNiven earned the win in net with 25 saves. Michael DiPietro stopped 39 shots for the Spitfires.

Saginaw 4 London 1

Sam Miletic was the lone scorer for the Knights as they lost 4-1 to Saginaw.

Tyler Parsons stopped 24 shots for the Knights. Evan Cormier earned first star honours in the game with a 40 save performance for the Spirit.

Flint 5 Kitchener 2

Adam Mascherin scored and set up the Ranger's other goal but it wasn't enough as Kitchener suffered a 5-2 defeat against Flint.

Connor Bunnamen scored the Rangers other goal.

Luke Opilka made 29 saves in the loss. Garrett Forrest stopped 27 shots for the Firebirds.
