Jeff Jordan struck twice as the Elmira Sugar Kings topped Guelph 4-1.
Mitch Hoelscher's power play goal midway through the second stood as the game winner. Jake Brown added insurance with just over a minute left in the frame, also on the power play.
Elmira was 3-8 with the man advantage while Guelph failed to capitalize on six opportunities.
Tyler Mazzocato stopped 25 shots to earn the win. Kristian Hufsky made 36 saves for the Hurricanes.
St. Marys 6 Lambton Shores 3
Bill Moskall and Kenny Chisholm each scored and set up two more as the St. Marys Lincolns doubled Lambton Shores 6-3.
Chad Heffernan's goal with just over four minutes left in the second stood as the game winner.
Brody Smith added insurance late in the third and Moskal scored on an empty Predators net to pad the Lincolns lead.
Waterloo 7 Brantford 4
Waterloo scored four times in the first and went on to beat Brantford 7-4.
Sam Cherry led the Siskins offence with a pair of goals and three assists. Drayton Duckett also scored twice for the Siskins.
Aidan Link allowed four goals on 12 shots before being replaced in the first by Evan Reinhart. Reinhart allowed two goals on 33 shots.
Andrew Albano earned the win with 34 saves.
