Driver Evades Police In Grey County

Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck who escaped after a police pursuit was called off in Singhampton.

The Grey County Ontario Provincial Police say on Thursday around 10:34am, officers attempted to pull over the truck, which had failed to stop at a stop sign on Grey Rd. 24 and Collingwood St. When the driver refused to pull over, police began a short pursuit, which was called off in the interest of public safety.

The pickup truck is described as a white, 2014 Ford F150, bearing Arizona Plate AG24205. U-Haul advertising was displayed all over the truck, including a large “$19.95 rental” decal on the tailgate.

The driver is described as having bushy blonde/reddish hair.

Police also observed two other passengers in the vehicle. A younger male passenger is described as having dark bushy hair and wearing dark clothing. A third, older male passenger, is described as having long bushy grey hair.
