Owen Sound Attack goalie Carter George has been invited to the Team Canada training camp for the 2026 World Junior tournament.
The camp will be held at the Gale Centre in Niagara Falls prior to the start of the 2026 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship (WJHC), which will be held from December 26 to January 5 in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.
George was part of last year's WJHC squad for Canada, and will be one of six returning players for this year's camp.
In 22 appearances this year, George has a 10-9-0 record with an .899 save percentage and a 3.12 GAA to go alongside one shutout.
The 2026 World Junior Hockey Championship begins on Boxing Day with four games, including Canada taking on Czechia at the 3M Arena at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
The Canadian team will be coached by London Knights Head Coach Dale Hunter.
