Nick Suzuki scored back-to-back goals just over three minutes apart in the second period and the Owen Sound Attack doubled London 4-2.
Maksim Sushko's short handed, third period goal stood as the game winner.
Ethan Szypula had the insurance goal, assisted by Jacob Friend and Aidan Dudas.
The Knights got goals from Alec Regula and Liam Foudy.
The Attack out shot the Knights 41-28. Olivier Lafreniere earned the win in net for Owen Sound.
It was an important win for the 7th place Attack who went into the game five points back of the 4th place Knights with a game in hand.
The Attack are back in action Friday night when they visit the Niagara Ice Dogs.
Kitchener 3 Mississauga 2
Mario Culina made 27 saves to lift the Kitchener Rangers over Mississauga 3-2 in yesterday's school day matinee.
Kole Sherwood led the Rangers offense with a pair of back-to-back goals including the eventual game winner at 17:24 of the first. Logan Brown opened the scoring for the Rangers at 8:21. He also had an assist in the win. The Rangers did all of their scoring in the opening frame, leading 3-1 heading into the second.
Albert Michnac and Nicholas Canade scored for the Steelheads.
