Stratford native and NHL coach Craig Hartsburg is retiring.
Hartsburg has been with the Columbus Blue Jackets since 2012 as an Associate Coach. His other professional coaching stops included Chicago, Anaheim and Ottawa and he was an association coach with Calgary and an assistant with Minnesota and Philadelphia.
Hartsburg also won gold medals as coach of the world junior team in 2007 and 2008.
In a release from the Blue Jackets, Hartsburg says he will be spending more time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
