The Chepstow Bantam ball team is ready for back-to-back tournaments.
The team is in Grafton, east of Oshawa, for the OASA's this weekend then will fly out to Saskatchewan early next week to get ready for the national tournament.
Jeff Newell helps with the team and says a lot of the players have been able to keep themselves focused.
"The boys are stil playing on their local teams," Newel says, "some of them are also playing on men's teams in the Huron County Fastball League."
Newell goes on to say, "We have had some exhibiton games. We played Shallow Lake the other night, a double header, so the kids are still spending lots of time on the diamond."
The Chepstow Lang Farm Bantams will play their first game in the 'A' bracket of the provincials Saturday at 1 p.m.
Owen Sound, Shallow Lake and Arthur are in the 'B' bracket and start Saturday morning.
