Rick Carr from the Saugeen Track and Field Club carried the flag for Canada during yesterday's opening ceremonies at the 2015 IPC World Championships in Doha, Qatar.
It's been billed as the largest International Paralympic Committee World Championships ever.
Carr is competing in the F11 long jump and javelin. He is joined by another local athlete, Josh Cassidy who is competing in the T54 800m, 1500m, and 5000 m.
