A proposed subdivision in Markdale will have until 2029 to complete the conditions needed for final approval.
Grey Highlands Council has approved an extension of draft plan approval for the Loon Call subdivision, pushing the deadline to August 10, 2029.
The development was originally granted draft approval in August 2023 and is planned for lands in Markdale.
The latest proposal includes 471 residential units, with a mix of detached homes and other housing types.
The extension gives the developer additional time to satisfy conditions required before the subdivision can receive final approval and registration.
