The Northern Tornadoes Project (NTP) has confirmed an EF1 tornado in Glencoe on June 25.
The NTP upgraded the tornado from a preliminary EF0 to an EF1 following a detailed ground and drone survey.
The supercell tornado touched down at 5:47 p.m. on June 25 and had a path length of nearly 10 km, and caused damage mainly to barns, trailers, and trees.
No injuries were reported.
Since the NTP began in 2017, the area has seen around six tornadoes per year, with 2023 seeing the most, with nine.
