Community Foundation Grey Bruce awards over $215K in grants

Community Foundation Grey Bruce (CFGB) has released the list of recipients for this year's Spring Community Grants program, totalling over $215,000 in grants.

CFGB says that 52 charitable and community-based projects are splitting the funding in 2026. There were 75 requests for funding this year, seeking over $320,000 in funding.

Some of the projects being highlighted that received funding include Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce's Social Recreation Summer Baseball program, creating inclusive recreational opportunities for individuals living with mental health and recovery challenges.

There is also Bruce County Public Library's Discovery Backpacks, combining literacy and hands-on learning opportunities for children, as well as Huron Shores Hospice's Wings of Remembrance project, creating a butterfly garden and memorial release experience for families and community members, among many others.
