The Howick Township Office will be closed for the day on Monday.
Town staff say the temporary closure of the Gorrie office is needed to facilitate the switchover of phone and data systems, and those systems will be offline during the transition.
As a result, phone lines will be unavailable and calls to the Township Office may not go through.
Voicemail services may also be temporarily unavailable while the system upgrades are completed.
Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly, and the office will reopen on Tuesday, June 9, at 8:30 a.m.
The Township says it appreciates the public's patience and understanding as it works to improve systems and services to better serve the community.
