The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has announced its fourth quarter payments for communities that host casinos, including a pair in Midwestern Ontario.
The Town of Hanover received a payment totaling $291,759 for hosting Playtime Casino, while the Municipality of Central Huron received $161,573 for hosting Gateway Casinos Clinton.
Hanover received $1,269,448 during the corporation's fiscal year of 2025-26, and Central Huron made $742,020.
OLG says the payments to host communities are based on a formula using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.
