Wellington County OPP say a tow truck operator was killed on the weekend while assisting another vehicle.
Emergency services responded to a single-vehicle collision on Wellington Road 26 between Sideroad 27 and Sideroad 30 in Centre Wellington Township.
According to police, a motor vehicle struck a pedestrian tow truck operator.
The victim, a 39-year-old from Richmond Hill was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead on December 29. The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital with minor-injuries.
No charges have been announced at this time.
