Families in Owen Sound can celebrate the new year without staying up until midnight.
The City of Owen Sound and YMCA of Bruce Grey Owen Sound are hosting a New Year’s Eve Family Celebration at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
The event will include public skating, an open swim and gym time, arts and crafts, face painting, a stilt walker, and an instabooth. Pizza slices from Pizzaville Stone Baked Pizza and water donated by Coca-Cola will be available at the kiosk outside the gym during the event.
The New Year's Eve celebration is free to attend, although donations will be accepted at the door.
