A search warrant executed by the Huron County OPP resulted in $36,000 in illegal drugs being seized in Exeter.
According to police, an investigation led officers to an address on Exeter's Main Street.
On December 17, officers with the Huron-Perth, Wellington County and Grey Bruce OPP Community Street Crimes Units, West Region OPP K-9, and West Region OPP Emergency Response Team executed the search warrant at the address.
Police seized suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, offence-related property, and Canadian currency, with the total value of the drugs being $36,000.
Weigh scales, cellular phones, and Canadian currency seized by police totalled $1,275.
As a result, a 39-year-old and 38-year-old, both from South Huron, have been charged with three different charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Both accused have been released with court dates scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich at a later date.
