Huron County OPP have laid several charges against a man following a disturbance at a retail property in Goderich last month.
Police say officers were called to a business on Huron Road just before 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 15 about an individual causing a disturbance. When officers arrived, the suspect allegedly struck a police cruiser with a hockey stick before fleeing the scene on a bicycle.
The accused was later located and arrested. A 48-year-old of no fixed address is charged with causing a disturbance, assaulting a peace officer, and three counts of failing to comply with probation.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and later released. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich on December 15.
