Hanover hospital's tree decorated with donations

A holiday tradition has returned to the Hanover and District Hospital, this year with a focus on raising funds to upgrade the fluoroscopy unit.

The Hanover and District Hospital Foundation (HDHF) has launched its annual Angel Tree Campaign, which invites the community to support local healthcare while sharing messages of gratitude, remembrance, and hope.

"The Angel Tree is one of our most meaningful traditions," says Madison Bryan, Executive Director of the HDH Foundation. "Every ornament and every message reflects the generosity and spirit of our community. This year, those contributions will help us bring advanced fluoroscopy equipment to Hanover, improving diagnostic care for so many patients."

The Angel Tree is located in the main lobby of the hospital and the HDHF says it has already begun filling with colourful ornaments and heartfelt hang tags submitted by donors. Each special ornament represented giving of all sizes, for example a red ornament is donation of $30 or more, while a star ornament is for $100 or more.

The foundation says all contributions made during the holiday season will directly support the fluoroscopy upgrade, an important component of the hospital’s ongoing efforts to modernize diagnostic imaging and enhance patient care.

To contribute, return a Christmas Appeal letter or donate online through the HDHF website.
