Whether you live in, work in, or visit Grey Bruce, Brightshores Health System wants to hear from you. The hospital network has launched a region-wide engagement effort to gather community input on the future of healthcare across the region.
The initiative invites patients, families, staff, physicians, volunteers, and community partners to share their experiences and ideas about what’s working well and what needs to improve. The feedback will help guide decisions about how care is delivered, where resources are focused, and how Brightshores can adapt to meet the evolving needs of Grey and Bruce counties.
“Being a multi-site hospital system is one of our greatest strengths,” said Ann Ford, President and CEO of Brightshores. “This regional focus keeps us close to the people we serve as we work to build a more responsive and connected system of care across the region.”
Healthcare systems across Ontario are facing significant pressures from increasing patient demand and changing needs to workforce shortages. Brightshores says these challenges also present an opportunity to rethink how care is delivered.
“Healthcare is deeply personal“Each of us brings our own story and passion for care. That’s why we’re asking: What matters most to you?” said Ford "Tell us what’s working well. Tell us what needs to change or improve. Help us identify the priorities that will have the greatest impact.”
