The Municipality of West Grey has announced its intention to sell over three acres of surplus land in Durham.
The parcel is known as Lots 93 through 96, and Lots 121 through 124, located just north of Durham Road West near the Country Corner Eatery.
Earlier this year, staff told council the municipality was approached with an offer with an offer to buy the lands in January. It was recommended the lands be disposed of through a bid process.
The land is zoned as Natural Environment, Future Development, and Open Space.
The minimum bid for the land is set at $56,000.
Bids will be accepted until October 31 at 4 p.m. The can be submitted via email to clerk@westgrey.com or in person at the municipal office.
