UPDATE: Amber Alert cancelled after toddler found safe

A province-wide Amber Alert for an eight-month-old boy from the Brampton area has been cancelled.

Peel Regional Police said the boy was last seen in Brampton on Thursday, and that he was with Shahzaib Memon. He is described as a Middle Eastern male, 40 years old.

Peel police say the toddler was abandoned by the suspect and Memon is outstanding.

The vehicle is described as a grey Nissan Rouge, with Ontario licence plate CZLM-113.

If you see Memon, do not approach him yourself. Call 911 immediately.
