Huron County OPP lay additional charges in child luring case

A lengthy list of additional charges has been brought against a Cambridge man in a child luring case.

The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police say that in March of 2024, an investigation was launched following a report of an individual communicating, using a social media site, with a victim under the age of 13.

Police identified a suspect and charged a 27-year-old Cambridge man with six criminal charges at the time, including luring a person under the age of 16 and possession of child pornography.

Now, police say they've charged the now 29-year-old man with 21 additional charges, including three counts of sexual assault on a person under 16 and importing, distributing, selling, or possessing for the purpose of distribution or sale any child pornography.

George Danayan was held for a bail hearing and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich. 

Police believe the accused may be involved in other incidents with other potential victims. Alias usernames allegedly used by the accused include "Jason", "Stintam", "Stalkham", "Jason Stintam", and "Jason Stalkham".

All the charges faced by the accused are as follows:

Making sexually explicit material available to a person under 18 years of age (two counts)

Making sexually explicit material available to a person under 16 years of age (two counts)

Luring a person under 18 years of age by means of telecommunication (two counts)

Luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication (two counts)

Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age (two counts)

Possession of child pornography (two counts)

Importing, distributing, selling, or possessing for the purpose of distribution or sale any child pornography

Making, printing, publishing or possessing for the purpose of publication any child pornography

Voyeurism

Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age (three counts)

Sexual interference (three counts).
