100 Women Who Care Grey Bruce proudly launched their 2025 giving season by presenting their largest donation to date — an impressive $33,200 — to Victim Services Bruce Grey.
Victim Services Bruce Grey, which supported over 1,400 individuals through crisis last year, was selected by member vote at the 100 Women Who Care’s April meeting. The donation will help enhance Victim Services’ mobile trauma response services and expand community outreach across both rural and urban areas of Bruce and Grey Counties.
Victim Services Bruce Grey provides immediate emotional and practical assistance to individuals affected by crime, tragedy, or disaster, operating 24/7 alongside emergency services. In addition to crisis intervention, the organization offers safety planning, needs assessments, referrals, and emergency financial assistance through the provincial Victim Quick Response Program.
“We are deeply honoured to receive this incredible support from 100 Women Who Care Grey Bruce,” said Jane Hartley, Executive Director of Victim Services Bruce Grey. “Their generosity will have a direct and lasting impact, allowing us to reach more victims and survivors across our communities with critical, compassionate care when it is needed most.”
100 Women Who Care Grey Bruce meets quarterly. Each member contributes $100 and the group collectively selects one of three local charities to receive the full donation. The grassroots group has quickly become a powerful force for positive change in the region, supporting vital community services and causes.
