Library to host "Wordshop" writing skills fundraiser

The Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library will host a "Wordshop" writing class fundraiser for interested writers.

On Sunday, April 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the library will be hosting writing workshops, book talks, readings, an open mic, business development sessions, networking and more for people interested in enhancing their writing skills.

WordShop 2025, co-sponsored by The Library and The Ginger Press, will "provide beginning and experienced writers with the knowledge, motivation, and momentum to move their writing forward," according to a media release from the library.

The event is a fundraiser for the library. For more information and to register, which costs $125, visit www.gingerpress.com or The Ginger Press in downtown Owen Sound.
