The Town of Goderich is inviting the public to weigh in on the future of the Memorial Arena, through a two-day charette running next week.
The arena has been closed since January 3 due to "safety and accessibility concerns."
The event will run at the Comfort Inn on April 4 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and April 5 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The town says it's an opportunity for community members, stakeholders, and experts to collaborate on ideas and future possibilities for the arena.
Mayor Trevor Bazinet said it will be just like the process for the downtown revitalization.
For those that are unable to attend, an online survey is also available where residents can share their thoughts.
Options provided for the buildings future include: repurposing, demolishing, selling the property or other.
