Pair of teens charged in Owen Sound business break-ins

Two teenagers are facing charges following a pair of break-ins at the same Owen Sound business.

The unnamed west-end business was broken into twice in less than a week, Owen Sound police said. Damage from the break-ins is pegged at $5,000.

The investigation led police to search a home on the west side of the city early on Wednesday. Police allege officers found evidence linking two suspects to both incidents.

A 17-year-old and a 18-year-old were arrested. They are charged with several offences including break and enter and theft and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The pair are being held in police custody pending a bail hearing, police said.
