A special meeting is being held to discuss the future of the Bayfield Area Food Bank.
The Municipality of Bluewater’s council will meet on February 4, 2025.
This comes as the building currently housing the food bank, leased by the Bayfield Lions Club, is set to be sold to a physician from Seaforth who plans to turn it into a medical clinic.
A new location for the food bank is needed with multiple groups like the Bayfield Ratepayers Association and the Bayfield Lions Club want the proceeds of the sale used to relocate the Food Bank to a new facility.
An exact time and location of the meeting has not been chosen at this time.
