32-year-old driver killed in Huron East crash

A two-vehicle collision in Huron East has claimed the life of a 32-year-old driver

At around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a sport utility vehicle and a truck hauling a cattle trailer collided on Blyth Road near Hensall Road.

The driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

The deceased, who was not named, was from Central Huron, OPP said.

Some of the cattle being transported also had to be euthanized due to the severity of injuries.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation, OPP said.
