Most of southern Ontario is currently under a rainfall warning.
According to Environment Canada, between 20 and 40 mm is expected to fall on Sunday.
This includes in Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Lambton County, and Huron County.
The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority (Huron County) and the Essex Region Conservation Authority (Windsor-Essex) are expecting water levels to rise substantially and are encouraging people to stay away from large bodies of water.
Environment Canada is also saying flooding in low-lying areas could easily happen as the rain will add onto all the snow that’s melting from the warm weather.
