West Coast Blues Festival comes to an end

The West Coast Blues Festival in Goderich announced this week that it won’t be continuing, ending a run of 19 years.

The annual festival celebrated local blues artists, running across Labour Day weekend. West Coast Blues Festival first started in 2006.

The most recent edition coincided with the newly launched Goderich Salt and Harvest festival.

In a statement President John Harrison thanked the dedicated volunteers, great musicians, sponsors and ticket buyers who faithfully supported the annual festival.

Harrison also gave special thanks to current and past committee members, who he said were the backbone of their success.
