A Huron East man is facing charges after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant at a Seaforth property on Tuesday.
According to police, the search was a result of a break and enter investigating in Central Huron, which led investigators to a suspect in Seaforth.
The search was conducted by the Huron-Perth Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU), Wellington County CSCU, and Huron County OPP, resulting in the seizure of stolen property.
The suspect, a 40-year-old man, now faces charges for break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, theft of a motor vehicle, operation while prohibited, and two counts of mischief.
The accused was processed and was later released from custody. He is scheduled to appear in Goderich court next month.
