Saugeen Shores gets $100K donation for new aquatic and wellness centre

Saugeen Shores has been given $100,000 to put toward the construction of its new aquatic and wellness centre.

E.S. Fox Limited, a multi-trade industrial, commercial, institutional, and energy constructor and fabricator, donated the six-figure sum to the town's “just add water” campaign. The funds will be used to help build the regional recreation centre that will include an eight-lane pool. It is currently under construction and is considered one of the town's biggest capital projects to date.

“We recognize the importance of supporting the communities that we are privileged to work in by sponsoring facilities that promote health, wellness, and a wide range of accessible activities," said Company President Spencer Fox. "Congratulations to the Town of Saugeen Shores and everyone involved in this project as it will enhance the dynamic lifestyle that is present in the entire tri-county area.”

E.S. Fox is headquartered in Niagara Falls, but has regional offices in Kincardine, Sarnia, Hamilton, Toronto, Port Robinson, Oshawa, Kingston, and Thunder Bay.

“We are incredibly grateful of the continued support for our community by local nuclear suppliers, such as E.S. Fox,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “This state-of-the-art facility will be a recreational hub for the region for generations to come.”

To-date, roughly $1.5 million has been donated toward the just add water campaign's $3 million goal.

Additional information about the campaign, including how to give, can be found online at justaddwaternow.ca.
