The Bruce County Public Library is relocating its Paisley Branch to the Paisley Community Centre at 391 Queen St. West.
The new, fully accessible space will feature a designated children’s area and an updated collection of titles.
Community feedback, gathered through a survey, helped shape the new hours of operation and branch priorities. The move was supported by the municipality of Arran-Elderslie, which secured $585,000 in funding, including $218,000 in provincial support, to renovate the second story and install an elevator.
A grand opening celebration is set for Friday, July 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Bruce County Public Library, with its 17 branches and a Bookmobile, remains committed to connecting the community and providing access to resources and programs throughout Bruce County.
The current branch will close to the public starting Sunday, June 30, 2024.
