The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation has received another donation towards its Caring Together campaign.
The campaign aims to bring a new CT scanner to the Wingham and District Hospital. Foxton Fuels has made a $100,000 donation toward the fundraising goal of $2.5 million.
Mark Foxton, is currently serving as the Caring Together Campaign Chair and his wife, Lisa Hearnden, is a long-time director on the board of the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation.
The progress tracker has the campaign currently sitting at roughly $1.4 million of its $2.5 million goal. The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation anticipates reaching their goal by the early summer this year.
“Mark and Lisa are fantastic advocates for our hospital and this $100,000 donation as well as Mark’s leadership on the campaign team are invaluable,” said WDH Foundation Executive Director Nicole Duquette-Jutzi. “It is our hope that the community will join them in helping make this important upgrade for our hospital happen.”
