Kincardine’s annual Fall Fair runs this weekend, and will be an in-person event for the first time in two years.
The theme is “Back in the Saddle”, and Fall Fair president, Lorelle Hedley, says the organizing committee is excited for the fair to be in-person again, following the COVID-19 pandemic.
“To be able to have the cattle come out, and people with their exhibits, we’re quite excited about it, to see the kids run around and just feel normal again.”
She adds there will be plenty of activities from agricultural exhibits, a petting zoo, live entertainment, and more.
“There’s a bubble zone for the kids, inflatables, a climbing wall, and new this year we put together a pet show. At the pet show there will be three categories, tricks, dress up, and obedience.”
Unfortunately, the one thing there won’t be is a parade.
“We aren’t able to put on a parade this year, just due to the fact that we don’t have the volunteers like we used to. What we would really like to do in the future is to put a parade committee together to help us run it.”
