The Middlesex London Health Unit reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday in the region.
The total number of cases in the London-area is now at 6,276 overall with 5,952 recoveries.
For the third day in a row, there were no new deaths reported in the region on Saturday. So far, 184 people have died as a result of the virus in London-Middlesex.
The number of laboratory confirmed variant cases is unchanged at four, the health unit said.
The health unit continues to monitor six outbreaks at local institutions. The latest outbreak was declared on Friday at Meadow Park Care Centre. Outbreaks are also ongoing at Chartwell Royalcliffe Retirement Residence, Richmond Woods, Strathmere Lodge and two outbreaks at Dearness Home.
There is currently one outbreak at a school in the region- St. Mark Catholic School.
Elsewhere, Southwestern Public Health reported five new cases in Elgin and Oxford counties, bringing the total to 2,566.
Across Ontario, 990 additional cases were reported on Saturday as well as six new deaths and 1,152 recoveries. Overall, Ontario has seen a total of 306,997 cases since the pandemic began.
