Perth County Crown Attorney Mary Potter is retiring.
Friday is Potter's final day of work, marking the end of the career of the first woman to run the Crown attorney's offices in both Middlesex and Perth counties.
The 57-year-old started as an assistant, but also held titles of deputy and acting Crown attorney before earning the top job on a full-time, permanent basis in 2013.
