One person had to be rushed to hospital following a single-vehicle crash south of Listowel.
The Ontario Provincial Police said a Ford Edge SUV was travelling south on Perth Road 158 on Wednesday shortly before 4:30 p.m., when it left the roadway for unknown reasons between Line 81 and Line 84.
The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, 37-year-old Malcolm Allen of Listowel, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital before being airlifted to a hospital in London. His condition has since been upgraded to stable.
Perth Road 158 in between Line 81 and Line 84 was closed for several hours to allow OPP to conduct an investigation.
