Hanover Police Search For Third Suspect In Drug Investigation

Two Hanover women are facing charges, and police are searching for a third suspect in connection with an ongoing drug investigation.

Hanover Police Service, with the assistance of an OPP Street Crime Unit, executed a search warrant Monday afternoon in the 300-block of 8th St. in Hanover.

Investigators seized methamphetamine, marijuana, marijuana oil, heroin, steroids, prohibited knives, ammunition, and drug-related paraphernalia. The total value of the seized drugs is estimated at over $3,000.

Shortly after 9am on Tuesday, 40-year-old Christine Cook of Hanover surrendered to police. She has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.

Later in the day, officers went to an apartment in the 500-block of 10th St. in Hanover as part of the investigation.

Chloe Brooks, 23, of Hanover was arrested at the apartment. She faces charges of possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of marijuana and two counts of breach of probation.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 24-year-old Brandon Armstrong of no fixed address on charges of possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, three counts of possession of a prohibited device and ammunition, and breach of probation.

Anyone with information of Brandon Armstrong’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Hanover Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
