Centre For Project Excellence Opens At Bruce Power Site

Bruce Power is moving closer to the start of it's Major Component Replacement project.

A Centre for Project Excellence has opened at the Bruce site.

The 60,000 sq ft facility is office and warehouse space that will house the project team for the refurbishment preparations.

The facility underwent a two-year renovation and is the first building on site designated for the Major Component Replacement Program, which starts in 2020.

"A key priority at Bruce Power is project excellence and that’s why preparing for the successful execution of our refurbishment program, which will begin in 2020, is an important focus for our organization,” says Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power’s president and CEO. "The opening of the Centre for Project Excellence is another important milestone as we prepare for the successful execution of future refurbishments that are important to our site, surrounding communities and the province of Ontario."
