Residential Hospice Grey Bruce Receives $125,000. Donation

The Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce has received a significant corporate donation. Parrish and Heimbecker has donated 125 thousand dollars to Chapman House, the end of life care facility under construction in Owen Sound.

P & H Vice President Alan Heimbecker says the hospice is a much needed addition to the community.

"Those families that are in need of such a service, they'll be very happy with this fantastic building and the services it will provide, a little bit more like home than perhaps a sterile hospital room," says Heimbecker.

The P & H donation will go towards a family lounge area in the new hospice.

Residential hospice Executive Director Scott Lovell says they're nearing their fundraising goal of 3.5 million dollars. It's expected to open early next year.
