Huron County's engineer told county council yesterday that changes have been made to the re-structured intersection of King St. and County Rd. 13 at the southwest end of Clinton
However, Steven Lund says there will be more fine-tuning to come.
Some Clinton residents and some truckers have expressed opposition to the re-structuring of the intersection in the past year. Some concerns were around traffic flow and others around signage.
Lund points out the changes were made to comply with Transport Canada guidelines, and the public was invited to comment on the environmental assessment.
Central Huron councillors have still been receiving some complaints.
Lund says they've added new signage and he believes that has improved traffic flow on James St. into Clinton. He adds they're also looking at re-structuring the intersection slightly so the south turn for trucks won't be as sharp as it is now.
