Maureen and Karen Ennis from St. John's, Newfoundland were a huge hit at the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival on the weekend.
The Ennis sisters had performed at the Celtic Festival two years ago, but Karen explained this was the first year they also taught at the Celtic College, and she described that as amazing experience.
She added people in this area appreciate music on a level that's hard to find so they thoroughly enjoy performing at the Celtic Festival.
There were five stages set up, so there was music and dancing throughout the weekend at the Goderich Harbour Park, as well as craft displays, a fresh local food court and supervised children’s area.
This year's Goderich Celtic College was one of the best in the 21 years the College has been held.
Celtic Festival Artistic Director Kate Johnston says they had over 220 adult students, 13 years and older, and they had over 60 kids in the 4 to 12 age group kids camp.
Johnston adds that was the highest enrolment ever for the kids camp and they kept the Goderich District Collegiate humming all week with music, dancing and arts.
