A bridge rehabilitation project will close part of Elizabeth Street East in Listowel for several months.
The Municipality of North Perth says the closure will begin Monday, July 27, 2026 and is expected to remain in place until the end of November while crews complete bridge and conduit wall reconstruction.
"Listowel Memorial Hospital, hospital parking lot and medical offices at 172 to 255 Elizabeth Street East can only be accessed from Davidson Avenue North," the municipality said.
Entrances at 330 Wallace Avenue North will remain accessible from Wallace Avenue. Officials say there will be no through traffic across the bridge during construction.
