The Wellington County OPP say the crash happened around 9:42 a.m. on Monday morning and involved two vehicles. Police confirmed that no life-threatening injuries occurred.
Hwy. 6 was closed between Mass Park Drive and Sideroad 4 until 12:35 p.m. when the OPP confirmed the road had re-opened.
A full cost estimation should be ready by late September to be sent to the Ministry of Health for approval.
The map has raised questions about whether the route could cross parts of Bruce, Grey, Huron, Perth or Wellington counties.
