A recent theft from a farm stand in Georgian Bluffs has resulted in the arrest of two suspects.
On August 27 at 1:10 p.m., Grey Bruce OPP officers got a call regarding a theft from a farm stand earlier that day. Investigators determined that at 11:35 a.m., two men drive up to a farm stand located on Hwy. 6 near Lake Street in the Township of Georgian Bluffs, took numerous items and left without paying.
The men drove off in a black Nissan Kicks.
Grey Bruce OPP appealed to the public for tips, and as a result, the two persons-of-interest were identified thanks to images on surveillance footage and tips from the public.
Now, both suspects, a 48-year-old and 44-year-old both from Owen Sound, are facing charges of Theft Under $5,000. Both suspects have been released from custody with court dates scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on October 15 and November 26, respectively.
