Labour Day is traditionally the last day London's spray pads are operational for the season. However, due to sweltering conditions forecast to arrive this weekend and continue through most of next week, the city has decided to keep the water fun zones open until September 10. The 17 locations are open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. A list of activation buttons can be found on the city's website.

Children in both the Thames Valley District School Board and the London District Catholic School Board return to school on Wednesday. Tuesday is a Professional Activity Day for staff.
