Laser Quest closes doors after 27 years in London

A downtown London staple for parties, day camps, and adrenaline pumping fun is closing its doors after nearly three decades in business.

Laser Quest's location at 149 Carling St. in London was one of several across North America to announced its closure on Tuesday.

"As much as we wanted to re-open, the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting uncertain economic climate have made the continued operation of our location next to impossible," read a statement on Laser Quest London's Facebook page.

"As we bid farewell, we at Laser Quest want to thank each and everyone of you for your support throughout the years."

The post has been shared more than 1,200 times.

Other Laser Quest entertainment centres, predominantly in the United States, will be reopening "in the future" under new ownership, the company said on its website.
